Reviews for the Citi Field Tour
Here are some reviews to help you plan before taking a Citi Field Tour.
Classic Ballpark
An old school type of stadium really built for baseball. The food is phenomenal. If the line at the shake shack is too long, try BLUE SMOKE. It’s got delicious BBQ and their own beer to pair it with. It’s like a modern version of a hot dog and Budweiser at the ball game. If you are craving a burger though, go down to the Keith Hernandez grill out in left field–delicious. Overall views and amenities at the stadium are excellent. Go to McFadden’s for some pregame specials!
One of the best ballpark views
Although the game was fun, I suggest paying $40 for the ballpark tour. It was worth every penny, especially for the chance to sit in the press booth and hang out in the media room. Please do yourself a favor and visit the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum too. I sat in Section 410 and it was one of the best ballpark views in baseball.

Lots of info during the guided tour
We booked a tour of Citi Field and were not disappointed. Located very near to Mets-Willets Point subway station (train no. 7 from downtown), it is easy to get to. Our guide, Dan, was friendly and being a Mets fan as well, provided lots of info during the guided tour. Behind the scenes visits were great. Only disappointment is that the Mets Store was closed during this off-season. Still a must go for baseball fans especially Mets fans!!
