Reviews for the Stadio Olimpico Tour
Here are some reviews to help you plan before taking a Stadio Olimpico Tour.
Book the stadium tour for sure
This is guarded at all times so you will need to either book a tour ticket or explain that you wish to do a stadium tour. I viewed the times via the official Roma FC website, which had a link to it.
The tour is done in a few languages, I think, although it is hardly necessary to have a translation. You enter the media area, hospitality section, and 3 different changing rooms(!), and finally, the tunnel and pitch.
It ends in the bar area, where you can purchase drinks and snacks, and there is a club shop to buy the official kits. Well worth doing alone for the tunnel entrance where they place the crowd noises.
Behind the scenes: A worthwhile visit
This is a 45-minute trip around the back of the stadium with a little history of the stadium and past events. There was a changing room tour and pitchside tour with photos to take in the dugouts and a look around the VIP areas. A worthwhile visit ahead of attending a match, which is a whole different experience with the crowd atmosphere!
